Founded in 2017, Lago Vista Family Dentistry has proudly served the Lago Vista community with compassionate, high-quality dental care for the entire family. Owned by Dr. Taran Bhatia and led clinically by our trusted treating dentist, Dr. Mitali Biani, our practice is built on a commitment to excellence, integrity, and patient-centered care.

  Dr. Bhatia grew up in Toledo, Ohio. Upon graduating high school she attended the University of Toledo, where she graduated cum laude.

She then went on to receive a scholarship to attend Ohio State University. She completed her degree and graduated in 2001. In 2001 Dr. Bhatia traveled to Texas and later completed her residency at the VA hospital in Temple, TX. She decided to open her first dental practice in 2005 and expanded to Austin and Lago Vista in 2019.

She has made the Austin area of Texas her home, partially, because of her love for live music and festivals. Dr. Bhatia is also very passionate about volunteer services, especially, organizations that feed the homeless and aid victims of domestic violence. Kids Against Hunger, Safeplace and Asian Family Support Services, just to name a few.

In her spare time she loves spending time with her three children, twin boys and a daughter. She also has a passion for traveling and dancing. She has traveled all over including a Safari in Kenya, Italy, Greece, India and Mexico.

 Dr. Binani, an experienced General Dentist and a certified Invisalign and ClearCorrect provider, carries a passion for dentistry rooted in her commitment to excellence and a genuine desire to bring out the brightest smiles in all her patients. She takes immense pleasure in being part of this exceptional team and values the opportunity to contribute her rich expertise. 

Unwavering in her dedication to patient care, Dr. Binani meticulously crafts personalized treatment plans, aiming to provide an all-encompassing dental care experience. Each procedure is clearly communicated, and patient queries are answered thoroughly in an unhurried, relaxed atmosphere, reinforcing her commitment to patient comfort and satisfaction. 

Dr. Binani's journey in dentistry began in Mumbai, India, where she graduated from Nair Dental Hospital and College in 2011. Committed to expanding her dental acumen, she obtained her DMD and MS in Oral Biology from the University of Louisville, KY in 2016. She has since enriched her professional experience practicing in Boston, MA, and San Jose, CA. 

Now settled in Austin, her "forever home," Dr. Binani cherishes the balance between her fulfilling professional life and quality family time. Outside her practice, she explores life's simple pleasures — spending time with her husband and two children, traveling, and indulging in culinary delights.

  Tracy has accumulated over 30 years of invaluable experience in dental hygiene. Her expertise spans across all facets of the practice, and she is deeply committed to educating and building meaningful connections with her patients. Tracy places great emphasis on delivering top-notch care and endeavors to cultivate an atmosphere of trust and mutual respect. Whether she's addressing existing dental issues or taking preventive measures against dental or gum disease, Tracy always takes into account the patient’s perspective and best interests. Tracy and her husband are proud parents of two sons and are rooted in the local community of Lago Vista.
